Several new categories for NAREE's 66th annual real estate and home and design journalism competition have been added. New award categories for individuals include the splitting of the Best Collection of Work Category into Best Residential Collection and Best Commercial Collection and the Best Design Story into Best Interior Design Story and Best Architecture Story.

NAREE has also added categories for work focused on economic analysis and international real estate. Two additional forms of digital communication will receive recognition with the addition of the Best Collection of Tweets and Best Short Blog Post by an Individual categories.

This year's contest will also feature a Best Photo by a Real Estate Journalist category.

Many categories such as Best Column, Best Website, Best Section and Best Newsletter as well as the various Best Magazine categories will only require one sam- ple of work to be judged instead of three.
