NAREE Elects 2008 Board

The National Association of Real Estate Editors has elected Ken Harney of the Washington Post Writers Group as its president for the 07-08 year. Allen Norwood of the Charlotte Observer is the new Board Vice President. 06-07 president Lois Weiss of the New York Post is now Chairman of NAREE's Board of Directors.
"With housing and mortgage news at the top of the news virtually every day, NAREE, with its unique resources and diverse membership, has never been more relevant," Harney said. "I am honored and delighted to have the privilege of serving as NAREE president during a year that sums up the ancient Chinese proverb -- 'May you live in interesting times.'"
