#NAREE2024 kicks off in Austin in 20 days
NAREE’s 58th major yearly conference will track innovation in both the real estate industry and the news media covering it.
Set for June 18-21 at the Hyatt Regency in Austin, NAREE’s "Mapping Innovation” annual conference is a must attend event.
NAREE headquarters, The Hyatt Regency, is a riverfront hotel juxtaposing idyllic tree-covered bike and hike paths against Austin's alluring skyline views. Drink it all in at NAREE events on the first floor terrace, at the Southwest Bistro on the second floor and inside Foothills II on floor 17. Or immerse yourself in it walking the paths, paddle boarding or on NAREE’s Wednesday night riverboat cruise.
Workshops, fireside chats, news-packed panels and trend tours guarantee a step into the future of everything real estate and real estate journalism. #NAREE2024 is a unique hybrid of both professional development and real estate industry news and insights. This Tuesday-to-Friday-morning confab is geared for journalists covering either residential or commercial real estate, or both on any bonafide news platform.
Leading industry innovators on this year’s agenda:
Mauricio Umansky, Founder of The Agency and star of the Buying Beverly Hills show on Netflix
Graeme Waitzkin, COO of ICON, the Austin-based builder of 3D-Printed homes, named to Time’s List of Best Inventions

John E. Bell, Head of the Mortgage Guaranty Program at the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs
Theodora “Teddy” Leatherman, Multifamily Expert and Managing Director of JLL Capital Markets

Journalists are also invited to be panelists on NAREE’s Meet the Press which runs on Awards Day, Thursday, June 20 at 3:00 PM. Now in its 27th year, MTP is NAREE’s one-on-one speed networking session where journalist panelists meet those who want to pitch them in a series of 3-minute appointments for 90 minutes. NAREE past president Sue Doerfler has invited registered journalists. Industry conferees can only sign up for MTP in person in Austin beginning Tuesday, June 18 near the conference main registration desk.
