LAST CALL: NAREE Office Hours Started Today and continues until Feb 26

Don’t miss your chance for an opportunity to get one-on-one time with a senior member of NAREE for the Office Hours mentorship program. A limited number of slots are still available for sessions beginning tomorrow, so be sure to sign up today.

Office Hours has quickly become one of NAREE’s most popular programs since its launch at the Austin conference in 2019. Office Hours is starting 2021 off with a virtual experience surrounding the “Work from Home” experience most journalists are facing these days.

These 20-minute sessions will take place via Zoom or phone call, depending on the mentor. The session will focus on how to network, get noticed, get ahead of the curve, and achieve a work-life balance in a virtual world.

This is a great opportunity for any journalist who has found it challenging to work remotely to get a few minutes with a journalist who worked remotely before the pandemic. While most of us have figured out that a better office chair, dedicated workspace, and setting time limits on how long to sit in front of screen, mentors maybe able to provide tried and true tips to take your COVID-era life to a new level.

NAREE’s virtual Office Hours runs from February 16 through February 26. The program will be akin to a blind date: you won’t know who you’re getting as a mentor. However, unlike a blind date, we can guarantee this will be a great experience for all parties involved!

Head over to our sign-up sheet here and grab an available timeslot while they last! At this time, we are only allowing one sign-up per reporter and Active Media member.
