The National Association of Real Estate Editors has elected Lauren Beale of the Los Angeles Times as its President for the 2009-2010 year. Stephen Gandel of Time magazine is the new Vice President. 2008-2009 President Holden Lewis of BankRate.com is now Chairman of NAREE's Board of Directors. Hui-yong Yu of Bloomberg News is the new Board Secretary and Jean Dimeo of Building Products magazine has been re-elected as Treasurer.
Harold Bubil of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune and Matthew Valley of National Real Estate Investor were elected Active Directors. Associate member Julie Reynolds of Move Inc. was elected Second Vice President and Donna Reichle of the National Association of Home Builders was elected Associate Director.
The NAREE election dinner meeting was held at Candelas on the Bay, a restaurant in Coronado, California as reporters gathered to cover the National Association of Realtors convention in San Diego.
